HELLO + WELCOME HERE

Michelle Ham, C.C.C.

Psychotherapist | B.H.Ecol, M.A. Counselling Psychology

My work weaves together the body, the nervous system, and the stories that have shaped you. With a grounded, relational approach, therapy becomes a space where your system can feel steady enough to explore what’s been too overwhelming to carry alone.

Here, we honour the protective patterns that once helped you survive while gently making room for new ways of relating to yourself and the world. Our sessions focus on awareness, co-regulation, and building the capacity for deeper connection—within yourself and in your relationships.

WORKING TOGETHER

My background includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Family Social Sciences, a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, and more than ten years of frontline work across the social service field. Over time, this has shaped my ability to meet people in the full truth of their lived experience—gently, steadily, and without rushing their process. I draw from trauma-informed, attachment-rooted, and somatically oriented perspectives to support healing that is felt, embodied, and relational.

My passion lies in creating safe and inclusive spaces where every individual feels valued and heard.

Personalized Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Family Systems

Individual therapy is shaped around the understanding that our bodies, brains, and relationships are constantly in conversation with one another. Together, we explore the patterns—both conscious and unconscious—that shape how you move through the world. Sessions weave in somatic awareness, nervous system education, and mindful exploration so you can better understand your internal signals, soften survival strategies that once protected you, and grow your capacity for choice, connection, and emotional steadiness.

For couples, therapy offers a grounded space to slow down, tune into one another, and understand the deeper stories driving conflict or disconnect. Rather than focusing only on the “what happened,” we explore how each partner’s nervous system responds in moments of stress, misattunement, or longing. This opens the door to more honest communication, clearer boundaries, and relational repair. Couples learn to co-create an environment where both partners feel safe enough to soften, reach, and be reached.

Family therapy acknowledges that each member’s internal world influences—and is influenced by—the whole system. Our work invites curiosity about the patterns that have taken root over time and the protective roles each person has learned to play. Through a blend of somatic practices, attunement, and gentle restructuring of interactions, families learn how to relate in ways that support connection, co-regulation, and emotional safety. Whether navigating developmental transitions, ruptures, or long-standing cycles of tension, family sessions make space for healing, repair, and new relational rhythms.

Across all forms of therapy, the guiding intention is the same: to help you build a more regulated, connected, and empowered relationship with yourself and the people you love. Healing happens not through force or perfection, but through repeated moments of safety, presence, and choice—experienced in your body, felt in your relationships, and integrated over time.
